About The Position

About the Role

We seek a Quality Manager to lead the quality function across our engineering organization. As the champion of quality at the company, you will be the driving force behind our efforts to deliver robust, reliable, and high-performance products to our customers. This high-impact leadership position requires strong technical acumen, data-driven thinking, and people management skills.

You will oversee both manual and automated quality assurance engineers, define and enforce quality standards, and serve as the central authority for tracking and reporting production incidents and bugs. This role demands a proactive, collaborative leader who can build scalable quality strategies and foster a culture of continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities

Quality Leadership - Define, own, and continuously evolve the company-wide quality vision, strategy, and standards. Be accountable for product quality KPIs and drive improvements based on measurable outcomes.


QA Management - Lead and mentor a team of Manual QA and Automation QA engineers. Lead planning and execution of test plans for all releases, ensuring timely and bug-free deliveries. Champion best practices in test case design, automation coverage, and regression testing.


Quality Data Ownership - Own and maintain quality-related data sources including: Production incidents (SEVs, outages, degradations). Client complaints and feedback loops. Bug tracking and resolution metrics. Analyze and report trends regularly to Engineering and Product leadership, using data to guide priority setting and corrective actions.


Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Support teams to integrate quality into all stages of the development lifecycle. Represent the quality domain in planning and release readiness meetings.


What We're Looking For

Must-Have Qualifications

3+ years in test automation, or Software development with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.

Proven experience managing manual and/or automation QA efforts across multiple projects.

Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes (e.g., test case management, CI/CD pipelines, test automation frameworks).

Experience tracking and reporting on production incidents, bugs, and customer issues.

Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.


Nice-to-Haves

Experience in fast-paced startups or SaaS environments.

Familiarity with quality metrics such as MTTR, defect leakage rate etc.

Hands-on experience with tools like Jira, Playwright, Cypress, Appium.
